The Wifi whitelist utility is specifically for limiting the list of networks (SSID names) that are visible by and can be connected to the Allegro 2 or Archer 2 handheld. This can potentially help prevent interference by or unintentional roaming to unwanted nearby networks, particularly open networks.
Click on the file below to save it (do not extract), copy it to the handheld, locate the file through File Explorer on the handheld, and then tap on the file to install. After using this utility to enable the whitelist function and after entering all desired SSID names, tap OK to close the utility and then perform a soft Reset to apply.
If needed, additional or alternative Wifi 802.11 troubleshooting methods are described at the following web pages.

Click on the file below to download an optional custom GNSS (GPS) firmware version 04.08 update for units that have the integrated NVS NV08C CSM/MCM receiver (on Board Version 0.4.6.5 and previous units, as shown under System Info > System ID). This does not apply to units that instead have the integrated uBlox M8 series receiver (Board Version 0.4.7.0 and later). This update enables support for the Japanese MSAS (Satellite Augmentation System) as well as other improvements as noted at the NVS website and in the included document.
Save then extract, copy the extracted files to the root directory (\My Device) or to an inserted MicroSD card in the A2, and then soft Reset (hold the Power button for 5 seconds).
Warning: This firmware update is provided as-is with no implied warranty. If issues are encountered after this firmware has been installed, you may need to press the "Restart GNSS" button under Settings > System > GNSS > GNSS System tab, then suspend and resume (briefly press the Power button).
Geode Connect for Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld (formerly Windows Mobile) 6.5 can be used to connect the original Geode GNS1 model or can be used with the integrated GNSS receiver in the Allegro 2, Archer 2, and the original Mesa. For more details, see the full article.
The USB printer driver update for the Allegro 2 and Archer 2 adds better support for directly connecting PCL (3.0 or previous) compliant USB printers so they can be addressed by custom software applications on the LPT1 port. Click on the file below to download, save (do not extract), copy to the handheld, locate in File Explorer on the handheld, tap on the file to install, and then soft Reset the handheld.

For additional information (such as alternative COM1 power behavior options), please see the following knowledge base article.

It can be used on Juniper Systems rugged handheld computers running the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. This utility clears existing issues with an incorrect or no passkey being assigned to a Bluetooth device, an inaccessible virtual COM port number that was previously assigned to a now deleted Bluetooth device, and other potential issues. To avoid such issues in the future, follow every step of the Bluetooth Setup with Microsoft drivers.
From the table below, right-click on the file to download and save to a location on your desktop PC. Copy to and run the file on the Field PC. A soft Reset of the Field PC will be required.
