Mesa 3 Windows 10 Pro OS Build 22228

Our 90 day operating system build 22228 of Microsoft Windows 10 Pro for the Mesa 3 is now being provided on new units in production and optionally on units serviced at a certified repair center (requires setting the unit to factory defaults). See the release notes for information. This build pre-installs version 21H2 of Microsoft Windows 10 Pro up to the 9 Aug 2022 cumulative KB updates, as well as incorporates version 30.0.101.2111 of the Intel HD Graphics Drivers.

No patch installer is being provided with this build. Existing units in the field can for the most part be comparably updated through the default automatic Windows Update service, using our previous 22131 cumulative patch update installer, and if necessary using the Intel Download Center.

This may be the final official build of Windows 10 Pro for the Mesa 3 before moving to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021. Any later Windows Update or other driver updates, such as possibly version 22H2 of Windows 10 Pro, may not be fully tested and supported on the Mesa 3. Customers will be able to upgrade their Windows 10 Pro licensed device to Windows 10 IoT at cost by sending it to any certified repair center. Devices that originally shipped with an IoT OS are not eligible for downgrade to Pro OS.
