Minor hardware enhancement related to touchscreen on Mesa 2
23 Aug 2017
Several minor changes have been implemented in production related to the touchscreen on the Mesa 2. These changes were implemented to help keep the touchscreen operational such as after encountering a significant drop or impact which meets or exceeds the MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 Shock specification of the product.
These changes are referred to as Deviation 290 and can be applied to any previous Mesa 2 unit when submitting the unit to a certified repair center.
If the touchscreen is not working on a Mesa 2 unit still within warranty that does not yet have these changes applied, is submitted to our factory repair center, and no other cause is found or evidence of damage beyond specifications, then the costs for repairing the touchscreen and applying these changes may be waived.
