Street Navigation apps for Microsoft Windows Mobile

There have been many street navigation (with voice directions) apps for Microsoft Windows Mobile, though some are no longer active. A list in order of recommendation is provided below.

  • iNav iGuidance (though is being discontinued)
  • Google Maps (text directions only, requires active Internet connection on handheld)

  • ESRI Arcpad with Streetmap Extension
  • Microsoft Pocket Streets (though has been deprecated)
  • TomTom Navigator (may encounter software licensing issues when re-installing)
  • ALK CoPilot (may require active Internet connection on handheld)
  • Mobium GPS
