Mesa OS release 1.2.2 and languages
Five written language versions are available of the latest 1.2.2 release of the Microsoft Windows Embedded Handheld (formerly Windows Mobile) 6.5.3 (build 12.42) operating system for the Mesa Rugged Notepad. Click on the files in the table below to download. An SD or SDHC card is needed to perform the OS update/language install. The Desktop Install EXE may also perform firmware and expansion pack utility updates automatically. Additional support in each language is provided through your local
Reseller.

If you are unable to install using the Desktop Install EXE method, the following ZIP files can be used to directly extract to an SD card for cable-less installation to the Mesa Rugged Notepad. Though if this method is used, any associated firmware update may need to be performed at a repair center, and expansion pack updates must be installed separately as well as may need to be re-installed if ever the Mesa is set to factory defaults (Clean Boot).
