BackRFID expansion modules changes

The supplier of the UHF RFID modules used in the Mesa® 3 Rugged Tablet (Windows® and Android™) has unexpectedly ended manufacturing of them. So, Juniper Systems will no longer be able to produce Mesa 3 configurations that include UHF RFID. Juniper Systems has obtained some of the high-power (1-Watt EIRP) RFID modules that we anticipate will be available through August 2024. Unfortunately, the standard power (1/2-Watt EIRP) module is no longer available for new orders.
Junipers Systems is working to offer a high-power (1-Watt EIRP) RFID expansion module replacement, which will continue to support Gen 2 UHF tags; however, it will not support AEI / ATA protocol tags. We will provide product support to the best of our ability over the next 18 months as our supply of the current high-power module permits.
