Port Cover

Archer Field PCs are now being shipped with a bottom Port Cover (Connector Protector). This cover provides a protective cap for the ports on the Archer`s bottom Communication Module, and is similar in material and look to the standard case overmolding. It also provides a more finished look to the Archer Field PC. This cover is gray to match the color of the battery compartment door, and has symbols on each section of the cover to indicate the port type underneath. This cover also attaches to the bottom hand strap hook to better secure the standard hand strap.

The Port Cover can be purchased separately for Archer Field PCs that do not already have a cover, and as a replacement part. The cover attaches to each port, to the side stylus and cable routing (drainage) channel holes, and to the bottom hand strap hook. It is easy to install in the field.
