Geode soft reset applies only to currently connected port

Update 26 July 2022 - Geode 2.3.0 and later now applies soft reset to all ports not just one.

As mentioned in the Geode User's Manual, the Geode remembers its configuration per each connection type. If you plan to switch between Bluetooth wireless and USB or RS-232, the Geode will not remember its settings between these connections. You will need to configure it for each connection type.

The same is true when you go to Menu > Receiver Configuration > Advanced > Factory Reset > Reset Receiver > Soft Reset as that will only apply to the port you are currently connected to on the Geode.
