Factory Reset the Cedar tablet

You can factory reset the Cedar tablet through the settings or Android recovery mode.

Reset Using the Settings:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data.

  2. Select Reset Tablet.

Warning: Doing this will delete apps and data.

  1. Tap Erase Everything and the process will begin. Resetting can take up to 2 mins to complete.

Reset Using Android Recovery Mode:

  1. Turn the unit off.

  2. Hold down the Volume + button, Volume - button, and the Power button at the same time. 

  3. Once the Splash screen appears let go of the power button but continue to hold the Volume + and the Volume - button until you see the Android logo with a Red Triangle above it, then release all the buttons.

  4. Hold the power button while briefly pressing the Volume + button. This will put you into the Android recovery mode. 

  5. Use the Volume + and the Volume - buttons to select the option to perform a factory reset of the device.
