Display appears to have burn in on Mesa 2
18 Mar 2019
On rare occasions, the LCD screen on the Mesa 2 may appear to have "burn in" similar to an old CRT monitor. When this occurs, you may see remnant "ghost images" of whatever was previously being shown on the screen for a long period of time.
A “voltage bias” on the Sharp LCD can cause a temporary residual image on some pixels. This residual image is not permanent so will eventually disappear.
The default Sleep timers should avoid this issue. If you have disabled these timers, it is recommended to at least occasionally change or refresh the image on the display. You could alternatively set timers to turn off the display only or even enable a screen saver.
