Blinking charge light on USB/Power Dock

Some Allegro USB/ Power Docks built between December 2006 and March 2007 will have the yellow charge indicator light (LED) blink on and off every few seconds.

Though this behavior is different compared to USB/ Power Docks built at other times, it does not affect how well the Allegro is charged while in the dock.

When the yellow indicator light blinks on for a brief moment every few seconds, it indicates that the battery is being maintained at a full state, or in other words, is being kept topped off. This is what is known as "trickle charging," which occurs after the normal charge cycle has charged the battery to capacity.
