Below are possible solutions to issues with the display backlight on an Archer or Allegro Field PC product.
Archer Field PC
Make sure Tactical Mode has not been enabled (which disables all lights on the product). On the Archer 2, press and hold the Power button for 15-20 seconds until the blue screen appears, move the Tactical Mode slider to NO, and then tap Exit.
Try adjusting the backlight brightness by tapping on Start > Settings > System tab > Brightness icon, and move the Backlight slider to the right.
Try powering off the Archer by pressing and holding the On/Off key for 5 seconds until the Power Button menu appears, and select the Power Off option. Press the On/Off key again briefly to power on the Archer.
Try removing the battery and wall charger for 20 minutes. After this time, re-insert the battery and wall charger. Press the On/Off key again briefly to power on the Archer.
