Restore System

Restoring the system on your Field PC requires that a backup copy of the system has been created previously, or the system will be set to a factory default state. For information on how a backup copy of the system may have been created previously, please visit our System Backup of the Field PC FAQ webpage.

Windows Mobile Field PC

Follow the instructions in the third party software used previously to backup the system.

The operating system can be reloaded using the latest version or language install file from our

Software Downloads webpages (even if the latest version or language is already installed).

Windows CE Field PC

If a Save System had been performed previously, tap on Start > Programs > Utilities > Restore System. Or connect to Microsoft ActiveSync, and at the main screen on the desktop PC click on Tools > Backup/Restore.
