16 Aug 2013

Chicago, IL — Juniper Systems would like to announce that it will be attending the APWA International Public Works Congress & Exposition held August 25-28, 2013 in Chicago, IL. For thousands of public works professionals around the world, this show is an ideal venue for networking and learning about new advancements in the industry.

Located in booth #421, Juniper Systems will be previewing its newest rugged handheld, scheduled to release late in 2013. Also on display will be the Mesa® Rugged Notepad, featuring a whopping 5.7 inch display optimized for easy-viewing, an IP67 rating, and a MIL-STD-810G certification. In addition, Juniper Systems will be demonstrating a new release of its field mapping software, Juniper Aspect, an easy-to-use mapping solution that creates accurate as-built and field asset documentation verified by GIS technology. The software is valued highly for its short learning curve and for its ability to place GIS and GPS capabilities in the hands of field workers. The new release offers more capabilities than its predecessor, while still maintaining its simple user experience.

Juniper Aspect is a versatile mapping solution that can be used for any jobs that require locating, documenting, and inspecting assets. Many public works professionals use Juniper Aspect for pavement inspection, street and traffic sign inventory and inspection, manhole inspection, street light inventory and inspection, and vegetation management, among many other uses.

“The APWA Congress is an excellent place for public works professionals to see some of our products in action,” said Jim Benson, Public Works Market Manager at Juniper Systems. “I always enjoy watching people’s reactions when they experience our products’ quality and capabilities for themselves. Our products are made to last, and they live up to every claim we make about them.”
