Juniper Systems Receives “Supplier of the Year” Award from American Innovations

Logan, Utah — Juniper Systems is excited to announce that it has recently been awarded “Supplier of the Year” by American Innovations (AI), based in Austin, Texas. This marks the second time AI has given this award in recognition of an outstanding vendor.

In selecting a recipient for Supplier of the Year, AI evaluated vendors on the following criteria: strategic importance, quality of support, quality of interaction, and partnership opportunities. According to AI, Juniper Systems was chosen for the award for its ease of doing business with and for its efforts that contributed to a successful year at AI. As a result of Juniper Systems’ efforts, AI was able to significantly reduce its turnaround time for repairs, upgrades, and new units. In addition, AI experienced reduced inventory as a result of Juniper Systems’ direct shipment of all new unit and repair orders to AI’s customers. Juniper Systems also changed some of its own processes in order to better support AI’s needs.

“American Innovations’ 2012 success would not have been possible without the support of the Juniper team. Juniper Systems’ ability to support the uneven spikes and additional demands for new units, unit upgrades, and normal repairs created the opportunity for us to have a very successful year,” said Charlie Hampton, AI’s VP of Operations. “Juniper Systems is a true partner in helping to create processes that work for both companies.”

Juniper Systems supplies AI with the Allegro MX™, its most recent model of the Allegro Field PC® series. With an IP67 rating for dust and water, a robust alphanumeric keyboard, and a highly outdoor-visible display, the Allegro MX is used by AI’s customers to perform corrosion data collection analysis, form data entry, data processing, and GPS coordinate line mapping. The Allegro MX is also often used in conjunction with the IDBLUE RFID reader, a duo for which AI recently received the NACE Corrosion Innovation of the Year award.

“AI has been our partner since its inception, and we are honored to receive this award,” said Remington Rainey, Industrial Market Manager at Juniper Systems. “Over the years, AI has demonstrated a high level of consistency, proving that they are a leader in the cathodic protection industry. We strive for mutual benefit in our partnerships, and we really feel that AI helps us to achieve that.”
