Work with ESRI ArcGIS Mobil Apps [Android]

Juniper Connect paired with a Spire receiver can obtain NTRIP/RTK GNSS receiver metadata and pass it to ESRI ArcGIS mobile apps, such as ArcGIS Field Maps and ArcGIS Survey123. To use NTRIP/RTK with the Spire and ArcGIS mobile apps, you will

Add a Network RTK Provider in Juniper Connect. (See Juniper Connect User Manual, chapter "Network RTK Profiles," section "Add a Network RTK Provider." Manuals for Juniper Connect.)

  1. Connect to Network RTK. Leave Juniper Connect open. (See Juniper Connect User Manual, chapter "Network RTK Profiles," section "Connect to Network RTK." Manuals for Juniper Connect.)

  2. Verify the connection in the ArcGIS app. Select the tab below that matches your software.

To verify that Field Maps is connected to the Geode and receiving corrections:

  1. Tap the GPS accuracy text in Field Maps. 

  2. Check that your Geode shows as the provider. (The numbers on your Geode will be different from those shown here.)

  3. Close the GPS Details screen.

  4. Tap the profile icon.

  5. Verify that Provider is set to Integrated.

You are now ready to use Field Maps with the NTRIP/RTK service through the Spire. 

Note: You will need to keep the Juniper Connect window open to maintain your NTRIP/RTK correction service.

To verify that Survey123 is connected to the Spire and receiving corrections:

  1. Tap  in Survey123.

  2. Verify that GeodeConnect is the source.

  3. Tap .

  4. Verify that Integrated Provider is selected.

You are now ready to use Survey123 with the NTRIP/RTK service through the Spire. 

Note: You will need to keep the Juniper Connect window open to maintain your NTRIP/RTK correction service.
