Holding the Power Button Activates the Digital Assistant

Starting with Android 14, pressing the Power key activates the digital assistant by default. In earlier versions, pressing the Power key opened the Power menu with options for Power off, Restart, or Shutdown.

To access the Power menu:

• Archer 4—Press and release the Power key with the Left Arrow (Volume Up) key.
• Mesa 3—Press and release the Power key and the Right Arrow (Volume Up) key.

To change the Power key functionality, 

1. Select Settings > System > Gestures > Press and hold power button.
2. Select Power menu. 
   
   
    
3. Close Settings.
