BackAndroid 14 Holding the Power Button Activates the Digital Assistant

Starting with Android 14, holding down the power button activates the digital assistant.
In previous versions of Android, holding down the power button opened the Power menu with options to Power off, Restart, or Shutdown.
To access the Power menu from Android 14:
- Archer 4—Press and release the Power button with the Left Arrow (Volume Up) key.
- Mesa 3—Press and release the Power button and the Right Arrow (Volume Up) key.
If you would like to customize the functioning of the power button, select Settings > System > Gestures > Press and hold power button.
