Geode Grip makes field mapping simpler by connecting the Geode and a smartphone or tablet to a comfortable hand grip for one-handed use.
Geode Grip accommodates a variety of devices.

Use Geode Grip for Smartphone
To attach the smartphone and GNSS receiver to the Geode Grip,
- Attach the mounting screw on the Geode Grip to the mount adapter on the bottom of the GNSS receiver.
- Pull down the spring-loaded lower assembly.
- Insert the smartphone.
- Release the lower assembly. The tray adjusts to securely hold your smartphone.
Use Geode Grip for Mesa 7 Inch Tablets
To attach the Mesa tablet and GNSS receiver to the Geode Grip,
- Attach the mounting screw on the Geode Grip to the mount adapter on the bottom of the GNSS receiver.
- Rotate the tray to your preferred orientation, either landscape or portrait.
- Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver and four M4x10 screws to attach the tray to the Geode Grip. Use the holes indicated in the diagrams below.

- Place the long edge of the Mesa tablet in the tray. Press down on the tablet until it snaps into place.
Use Geode Grip for Archer 4
To attach the Archer 4 and GNSS receiver to the Geode Grip,
- Attach the mounting screw on the Geode Grip to the mount adapter on the bottom of the GNSS receiver.
- Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver and four M4x10 screws to attach the tray to the Geode Grip. Use the holes indicated in the diagram below.
- Place the long side of the Archer 4 in the tray. Press down on the other side of the Archer 4 until it snaps into place.
