Data Automatic Transfer (Synchronization) Options

Note: This information is provided as a reference and does not imply that Juniper Systems will provide full support for the use of any specific third-party product or service with a Juniper Systems product.

 

Several options may be available to automatically transfer (synchronize) data between a Juniper Systems Field PC and a desktop computer or server. A link to the website for each option is provided in the table below.

* Note: The file synchronization feature in Microsoft ActiveSync is being deprecated by direct access to database information (such as with a Microsoft Exchange Server database, which is not available in Windows CE 4.2 and older on the Allegro CX and previous Allegro models). If you would still like to try using this feature, instructions for synchronizing through the ActiveSync File Synchronization feature, or how to manually transfer files using Explorer or removable memory cards are provided in the Field PC User Guides.
