Touch profiles are designed to meet a variety of finger, stylus, and glove inputs in varying conditions, including rain. In short, yes! The Mesa 4 is a complete computer in a compact rugged form factor. The Windows 11 OS is the same as any laptop or desktop PC. This allows you to run all your data collection apps, office software, etc. We recommend using a USB-C dock for a more traditional office experience: just sit down, dock, and work with a mouse, keyboard and monitor. When you need to hit the field, just pull it from the dock and you have your office in your hands.

IP68 and MIL-STD-810H are standards developed to test devices against simulated environmental conditions. The IP68 certification establishes that a device is resistant to water and dust. The MIL-STD-810H certification can establish versatility against a variety of tests including resistance to shock. 

The Mesa line of tablets are dustproof and waterproof tested to withstand full submersion at 1.4 meters for 30 minutes. They are also shockproof tested to withstand multiple 4-foot drops to concrete.
